Upper Mission Grand Entrance This exterior entrance restoration project in Upper Mission involved repairing extensive moisture and mold damage caused by interior-grade MDF materials that had been incorrectly used during the original construction of the home’s grand entrance. Over time, exposure to the elements caused the MDF to swell, deteriorate, and develop mold throughout the structure. We removed all damaged materials, completed full mold remediation, and repaired the affected rot before using a professional scaffolding setup to install new SmartTrim and updated trim moulding designed for long-term exterior durability in the Okanagan Valley climate. To complete the transformation, we finished the entire entrance with a fresh white paint application for a clean, modern appearance that dramatically improved the home’s curb appeal.
